For the most part,
we take care of ourselves:
We brush our teeth 2x a day
We walk a little more and sit a little less
We sprinkle flaxseed on our oatmeal,
when we remember
But do we clean out our daily stress?
If we don’t, then our cells hold on to it
until we freak out over little things and go catatonic over big things (and get sick, have anxiety and can't sleep well anymore, and, and, and...).
If we expunge our stress, we feel better,
look better and stave off adult meltdowns. We remain adaptable for all things no matter the magnitude. Sounds a little grandiose, you say? We've forgotten what balanced feels like and have normalized stress and anxiety and restless leg syndrome. Let's stop fidgeting and get back to normal baselines.
